To continue the momentum for creating a collaborative network for social entrepreneurship in Western Massachusetts, we invite you to join us for these regular monthly gatherings.  The meet-ups are informal and open to all - this is an opportunity to build networks and develop strategies for implementing the ideas that we generate as a group, as well as a chance to build your own relationships with other champions of social enterprise in Western Mass.

The meetings will be held the last Wednesday of each month, starting July 28, from 6:00-8:00pm.  We'll be holding the first meeting in the cafe at the River Valley Market in Northampton (http://rivervalleymarket.coop/), but we would like to rotate the event to different venues throughout the area.  We would love suggestions of alternate venues, and if we can support local social enterprise through our presence, all the better!

Anyone with an interest in social enterprise - business owners & entrepreneurs, investors, students, educators, advisors, consumers - is encouraged to attend and lend your voice to this ongoing discussion.  These meetings can also serve as a regular check-in for initiatives or projects launched as a result of our collaborative work.

At our last meeting, the need for a group charter or vision statement was discussed - there is a discussion thread dedicated to this topic on the Google Group site (http://groups.google.com/group/pvsec) and we've posted the potential goals that have been discussed so far.  We welcome your comments or ideas on shaping a more direct vision for the group, so please feel free to share your perspective in our online discussion.
